(SK) Gaia

Okay this one was actually done before the DO one and I'm serious when I say THIS IS THE LAST ONE okay no more groups for a while, omfg. BUT I've wanted a mermaid for a long time now and this group is perfect ;w;

Height: 198 cm (she's actually a little short)

Weight:  122 kgs

Nationality: She comes from the Mediterranean Sea

Fish: She’s based on the family of fishes Scaridae (Parrotfishes), especially a bicolor parrotfish.

Reason for the stay: There’s a lot of reasons, but the main would be that she run away from her home, and the triangle was the best place she find for staying. (See bio)

Favorite Place: She enjoys a lot the underwater caves in the west, since she loves to explore, and quite lonely places.

Forte: Handcraft. She’s really creative, and she´s always looking for a way to express this. She loves human stuff, so she’s always looking for these to use as material, for creating from accessories and clothes to weapons and practical things.

Personality: At first glance, she would give a cold and stoic look, even scary, sometimes make it difficult to approach her. But in reality, she´s really she doesn’t realize that looks like that, since Gaia’s usually in her own world. She’s  friendly and easy to talk to once you do, however it’s not easy for her to get close to someone, and she rarely talks about herself. Gaia’s extremely stubborn and somehow proud when it comes to the way she thinks and it’s really difficult for her to admit she’s wrong. She’s very clever and can resolve really difficult problems, but only if she tries.  She also can be a little intolerant sometimes.

Likes / Dislikes:

+Human materials. When she was living in the Mediterranean Sea, she always find ways to steal from the humans.

+Animals. Loves them, sometimes prefer to be with them than the merfolk.

+Loves the sound corals makes, another reason why she likes to be in the west so much.

+Eating. Eats a lot, all kinds of food, she’s always willing to taste anything.

History: Gaia was born in a really small colony of merfolk that refused to leave the mediterranean sea (Mainly only her family and her uncle with theirs). Her family was extreamly traditional and have been living the same way for many centures, even after seeing how the merfolk were dessapiring. In their believes, the mediterranean sea is a really espiritual place and no mather what, if they stay there they would be fine. However, since Gaia was little she got used to exploring by herself without her family realizing it. One of those times, she had contact with a human kid. The kid was alone, on a big rock really close to the shore, yet he was the only human there. He was small, around six-seven years. Her curiosity won and she tried to get close, and ask him a few things she have been wondering about the humans. That was the first (and last) time she had direct contact with a human, but she have been extreamly intersted about the outside word (ocean and no ocean) since then. After some years, she finally decided to leave her home, despite her family warnings.
After a really long travel, she found the triangle, and for her it was like paradise. In her homeland, they had to be hiding all the time, but finding a place for the merfolks to be them without caring about the humans was the best she could find. She has been living there since then, however she's considering to go back and let her family know about this place and take them with her.

Thoughts on humans: “Humans? My thoughts about them…     they are lucky, I guess." She likes to observe them quitely, but for some reason they are a sensitive subject.

Additional Info:

-The really small colony she comes from consist of her parents, her uncle (her dad's borther) and his four kids (three boys and one girl)

- You will always see a small ringed octopus by her side, he have been traveling with Gaia and she considers him his best friend.

-One of her favorite material is the raincoat that fishers usually wear, and most of her clothing is made with it. She really likes fishing rods too, so she adds pieces of it to her clothing too.

- When she goes out looking for material, she takes a really big bag she made that can be “a Little flashy” it has a lot of stuff hanging form it, so it makes a lot of sound when she moves it.

- Most of the jewelry she uses is from the humans, with being most of the exceptions the ones she inserted on her ears (she has a few human earrings though) and the one she uses on her hair. Most of the time she does not know how to use them, so she just asume. (For example, the ring she uses in her ear)

Rp Methods: I prefer lit (usually small/medium paragraphs), but if you prefer script is can try that uwu I’m okay with chat, notes, hangouts, google docs and Skype (however I haven’t been there a lot lately). I can rp in English or Spanish. I’m okay with anything really, but I prefer to actually develop my character and take my time to answer and such. I really like to do slice of life but realistic, where both bad and good things happens.
